As far back as Martin can remember, he has loved and been moved by music. He began singing in church at age 9 -- accompanying himself on the ukulele and singing Whispering Hope. Since his first songs as a teenager, writing music has provided Martin a way of communicating his feelings about life, family, love and especially, God.
Martin has performed in churches and auditoriums around the country, often accompanying himself on the piano. His rich tenor voice lends itself perfectly to his musical style. Drawing inspiration from life's experiences, both happy and sad, Martin's music conveys emotion in an open and personal way. Because family is very important to him, many of his songs center on family. And they all have a spiritual nature, reflecting his belief in a living and personal Savior.
